Our family-run studio in the heart of Argyle, Texas is the go-to spot for weekly DIY workshops, creative parties, and one-of-a-kind specialty projects. Our Story

North Texas has been our home for over 30 years! John and I have been married for 40 wonderful years and are proud parents to three amazing adult children, who now have families of their own, blessing us with six incredible grandkids we absolutely love to spoil!

John and I make a great team, and together, we took a leap of faith to create a space that fuels my creativity and allows me to invest in others.

And just like that… The DIY District was born! We’d love for you to visit and experience the joy of creating with us!

Welcome to your new creative home! The DIY District is a hub for creative parties and special events. We offer a variety of classes, camps, and workshops where you can create a DIY masterpiece. Our goal is simple: to
help you find your passion in creating and bring the community together! 

We specialize in home decor and handmade gifts, with instructor led classes and events. It is our greatest pleasure to inspire your inner artist and provide an amazing experience!

The DIY District is not just a workshop or a project; it is an experience. How much does it cost to hold a private event @ The District?

Our events are priced by the project and start at $35/per person. Check out our DIY Experiences and let us help you plan the perfect event for you and your friends and family!

Do you hold public classes @ The District?

Absolutely! Every month we have a minimum of 2 public events on our calendar. Click Here to see what's coming up soon!

How do I register for a class?

To register:

Check out our Studio Calendar to see what workshops are coming up. Click on the class you would like to attend, you will be taken to that event page to register.

Can I work with someone else on my project? Can I make more than one project in a workshop?

Our policy is only ONE person per project (unless otherwise noted).  This ensures that we are able to accommodate all registrants and have the space needed to complete the project.  We also only allow one project per person per class due to time and material constraints.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

We understand that life happens and you may not be able to make your class. Due to the custom nature of our projects, we do not offer refunds, however we will make every effort to reschedule you for another class in the future or we can package your project for you to take home.  A "no-show" guest will forfeit their registration.
